John Galt Solutions is looking for a creative, high-energy B2B communications expert to drive awareness of the company and it’s supply chain planning solutions. The ideal candidate has experience working in B2B media relations, social media and analyst engagements. The Global Communications Manager must have strong written and verbal communications skills, work well under tight deadlines and be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.

John Galt Solutions is a leading provider of supply chain planning software to large and medium-sized business around the world. This role will help develop and execute our media strategy (editorial placements, press release development), drive social engagement (social strategy and execution, blog development) and work closely with other members of the team to drive our analyst relations strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the organization’s public relations strategy for John Galt’s supply chain solutions
  • Develop and implement media strategy to place the company’s thought leaders in key publications
  • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with company’s global marketing initiatives
  • Organize and align John Galt’s thought leaders to engage in promotional events such as press tours and conferences
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and execute a global analyst relations strategy · Leverage existing media, analyst and influencer relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
  • Manage media inquiries and interview requests
  • Create content for press releases, byline articles, blogs, and presentations
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising
  • Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness
  • Maintain a keen understanding of supply chain industry trends and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience/track record of designing and executing communications programs in B2B
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Creative writing skills
  • Strong project management skills with ability to adhere to deadlines and handle multiple initiatives at the same time
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • BA/MA degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar field
  • Supply chain background a plus but not required
