Elizabeth Gustafson, PhD

Elizabeth Gustafson is an Associate Professor of Economics and Chair, Department of Economics and Finance (since 1997). She earned her BA degree in 1970 from Duke University and a PhD degree in 1974 from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She teaches Business and Economic Forecasting and Econometrics at the Department of Economics and Finance, University of Dayton. Her Business and Economic Forecasting class concentrates on quantitative forecasting techniques. Students learn to apply the various forecasting techniques using the ForecastX software, an add on to Microsoft Excel that comes with the textbook by J. Holton Wilson and Barry Keating and John Galt Solutions, Business Forecasting, 4th edition.
