Rockhurst University is a Catholic, Jesuit university serving 2,500 students in the business and cultural heart of Kansas City, MO. Founded by the Jesuits in 1910, Rockhurst is a comprehensive university that offers more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs taught by nationally recognized faculty within four major colleges.
In 2003 the university was recognized by the Carnegie Foundation, which is a major national and international center for research and policy studies about teaching. Rockhurst was one of only 10 schools nationwide designated a Carnegie scholarship of teaching and learning leadership site.
Helzberg School of Management
Rockhurst University’s Helzberg School of Management is in harmony with the Jesuit ideal of educating the “whole person,” the mission of the HSOM focuses on preparing students to be leaders in service to the communities in which they live, in addition to achieving success in their professional pursuits. The main campus of the school is located near the Plaza District — a focal point of the Kansas City, MO Metropolitan area.
The Undergraduate programs offered from The Helzburg School of Management include: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Finance/Economics, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems and Marketing. The Graduate program offers Evening MBA, 5th-Year Bachelor’s Degree/MBA, Executive Fellow’s MBA, MBA in Health Care Leadership for Physicians, and DO/MBA Dual Degree.
