Dr. Choi is currently an Associate Professor of Economics. His teaching specialties include Money & Financial Systems, Economics for Decision Making, Global Economy, Business & Economic Forecasting, and Financial Futures. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University in 1982 and worked as Advisory Economist in the Economic Analysis and Planning Department of the Chicago Board of Trade from 1981 till 1988 before joining DePaul.
His Business and Economic Forecasting course helps to survey and learn the principles and techniques underlying various business and economic forecast information that are often available in the real world. Emphasis is given to the techniques, their relative strengths and weaknesses, and real world applications.
