JOB DESCRIPTION

John Galt Solutions is currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to expand our sales team in our Chicago office. This ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently on sales campaigns making cold calls to new and existing customers, follow up on new leads and assisting our Sales Team. This position requires a detail-oriented and highly motivated individual with experience in a sales environment.

DESIRED & SKILLS and EXPERTISE

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Computer Science or equivalent experience working in software sales
  • 1+ year of experience in a sales environment in making outbound calls
  • Ability to cold call to generate leads
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computer and typing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
  • Must be a self-starter with ability to prioritize to meet goals and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be a team player
  • Goal oriented with a drive to achieve results
  • Must demonstrate excellent follow-up skills

 

Responsibilities:

  • Able to make 60-80 outbound calls per day
  • Able to target existing and potential customers
  • Demonstrate high degree of diligence and accountability
  • Conduct online presentations as needed
  • Support Sales team where applicable
  • Create proposals and quotes based on client requirements
  • Ability to generate pipeline and carry opportunities through to closing
  • Responsible for keeping sales opportunity records up to date
