Samsonite Unpacks Demand Planning With John Galt Solutions’ Atlas Planning Suite

CHICAGO, IL – June 25, 2015 – John Galt Solutions announced today that Samsonite, the world’s top manufacturer of travel luggage, bags and accessories, has selected John Galt’s Atlas Planning Suite as the foundation of its enterprise demand planning process for its North America Operations.

Samsonite sought demand planning software that would allow them to centralize and automate its various spreadsheet-based planning processes. The tool would have to be capable of handling Samsonite’s large and diverse range of products and reporting information from multiple perspectives.  Atlas Planning won out, as it offered a powerful and flexible data warehouse at its core. With Atlas, Samsonite’s multiple plans have been consolidated into a single process, enabling enterprise-wide visibility and collaboration.
